Privacy
The short version: we collect only what we need to help you, we never sell it, and we delete it when we're done.
Last updated September 28, 2026.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type: your name, how to reach you, and what you need help with. That’s it.
We never ask for passwords, PINs, Social Security numbers, or bank or card numbers. Not in the form, not on a call. If you accidentally include one, we’ll delete it and tell you.
What we do with it
- Send it by email to our volunteer team so someone can help you.
- Keep it in a private spreadsheet so we can track that your request was answered.
- Send you a confirmation and follow-ups about your request.
We never sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for anything other than helping you.
How long we keep it
We delete your request, and the emails about it, 12 months after your case is closed. If you’d like it deleted sooner, email hello@shibasupport.org and we will.
Cookies and tracking
We don’t use tracking cookies. Our analytics counts page views without storing anything about you, so there’s no cookie banner. Our spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a short-lived cookie to prove you’re a person.
Who can see it
Only identity-checked Shiba Support volunteers who are working on your request. We use a few services to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Google (spreadsheet and mailboxes), and Cloudflare (spam check). Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.
If you’re in danger
If someone may be watching your device, use the Quick exit button on our help pages. It leaves the site and removes the page from your back button. Reach us from a device the other person can’t see, if you can.
Children
Our services are for adults and for young people with a parent or guardian’s okay. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
